A hearty, sincere CONGRATULATIONS to all our SCHS musicians on two wonderful fall concerts and our final home football game performance this past week! Please note: Concert recordings and videos are available on the documents section of our website and our closed Facebook group, respectively.
We are off to a wonderfully artistic start to the school year that has left me even more excited for all of our performances and events to come! Here’s what we have to anticipate for the coming week: Concert Ensembles Solo & Ensemble Registration has begun! If you will be participating in Solo & Ensemble, please click here to access this year's registration form. All registration forms and fees are due THIS Friday, October 27, 2017. The form can also be found in the Band Classes section of our Documents page, along with lists of private instructors and piano accompanists. Large Ensemble participants (Woodwind, Brass, Percussion): You do NOT need to submit a form. Rather, please submit your per-person fee in a sealed, marked envelope with your name and chamber ensemble. Rehearsal schedules and music will be made available soon. As soon as schedules and parts are finalized, they will be made available to you. Stay tuned! Students may also find it helpful to remember the following MSBOA rules for Solo & Ensemble prior to registration: Please note: If there are ANY questions at all, please do not hesitate to contact Mrs. Staniszewski! Although there are a number of guidelines, she is able to help you navigate these and provide anything you may need to make participating in Solo & Ensemble a fun, easy, enjoyable learning experience.)
