The 21-22 school year may be wrapping up, but we are already kicking off things with the Cougar Marching Band for the 2022-23 year! Here is some important information to help our marching band members have a smooth summer transition into the fall: For those who missed our Parent Meeting or wish to go back and review, the information from the meeting can be found here. Our Mini-Band Camp concludes tomorrow, June 10th, with us performing pre-game music and the National Anthem at Jimmy John's Field. The timeline for this event can be found here. Over the summer, section leaders and captains will be holding sectionals at various dates and times. Each section is required to hold a minimum of 5 sectionals over the summer, and each member is required to attend at least 3 of these sectional meetings. Should anyone need assistance with where and when their sectionals are happening, you are always welcome to contact your section leader/captain, one of our Drum Majors, or Mrs. Staniszewski. We will be packing the trailer for band camp on Saturday, July 30th. A schedule for students to report and pack their equipment/instruments on the trailer will be released closer to the date. Please plan on dedicating some time this day to help us pack the trailer at your appointed time to ensure we have a successful camp experience for the following week! After Band Camp July 31-August 6, our rehearsal/performance schedule looks like this -- mark your calendars! Once school starts, we'll begin our normal Monday nights (6-9pm) and Wed/Thurs AMs (6:15-7:15am) practices. Stay in touch with us! We have a number of ways to stay in touch and keep up with all the band events happening year round:
