This once-in-a-lifetime trip will consist of two different performance opportunities: Performing on a Disney Stage in Walt Disney World (as professional performers with Disney Entertainment), as well as working with a studio musician in a professional recording studio environment to record our own film soundtracks. While we are down in Orlando, we will also visit all four Disney theme parks. Any student enrolled in a year-long band class for the 2018-2019 school year is invited to register for this trip! UPDATE: We currently have 41 students and 1 chaperone registered for this trip! We need additional adults to meet our required chaperone ratio, or we will not be cleared to travel. The first 55 people to register (6 chaperones, 49 students) will have guaranteed seats, after which a waiting list will open. In order for the trip to proceed, the minimum number of travelers must be met (6 chaperones, 49 students). Should we hit 80 people (8 chaperones, 72 students) or more, the waiting list will be cleared and anyone who registers will be cleared for travel. To view our tentative itinerary, see pricing and accommodations, and registration directions for this exciting travel opportunity, please click here. Please feel free to contact Mrs. Staniszewski with any questions-- we want to make sure EVERY student who wants to travel with us has the opportunity to do so. The last time SCHS Bands traveled to Orlando, we had over 80 students performing all together- and it was AMAZING! We hope you will join us for this magical trip! |
