If you/your student is interested in being a HS Mentor Musician, please complete this Google Form to have your name added to our Mentor List. Please note: Adding your name and expressing your interest doesn't necessarily mean you will be contacted by a MS student to teach. Parent Support for Next Year's Marching Band A successful season for next year starts today! Help is needed to fill some critical positions looking ahead for Fall 2022. If you have any questions, please contact our VP for Band Affairs, Stacey Anason at [email protected]. 1) Paperwork Coordinator for Band Camp. We are looking for an organized person, who would like to work behind the scenes and update the paperwork to meet Michigan's licensing requirements. This person will also attend band camp (as the paperwork coordinator -- nicer accommodations) and handle the audit with the state rep. 2) Assistant Band Camp Coordinator - Learns the ropes from our awesome current band camp coordinator. Helps with planning and execution in hopes of leading this the next year. 3) Discount Card Leader - This person leads the team to get our discount card off the ground. Identifies businesses to contact, dusts off the contracts, keeps the contracts, and sets up group selling opportunities (which we already have identified). This fundraising is so critical to kids who need money to go to camp. This position is really valuable. Our fundraising VP will help guide too. 4) Discount card team - helps discount card leader contact business and gets agreements (contracts) signed by prospective businesses to be on discount card. 5) Medical Personnel (Band Camp) - We have one but need a second medical person to help out at band camp. If you have medical background PLEASE consider this if you can. For your planning: band camp will be Jul 31 - 6 Aug next year. Grand Traverse Pie Fundraiser Our annual Pie Fundraiser is BACK!
