As we shift gears to the new semester, we have some great projects ahead for the SCHS Bands!
Here's to you-- halfway through!-- and here's to even more musical growth and fun in the coming months! Instrument Supplies & Repairs Resume Tuesday, January 12th Our RCS Repair Nights resume this Tuesday, 6-8pm at Rochester High School! Anyone needing repairs or supplies are welcome to come to the RHS Band Room on Tuesday, January 12th and/or Tuesday, January 26th. (There will be no repair night on January 19th due to no school.) Semester Grade Deadline: All Work Due Wednesday, January 13th All of our final assignments for the semester (Jazz Solo Transcription, Composition Project, etc.) in addition to any missing/late work is due on Wednesday, January 13th. You/your student is encouraged to submit any work prior to this deadline to ensure it is accounted for semester report cards. Student Leadership Meeting: Thursday, January 14th at 2:30pm Our Student Leadership Council/Committees will begin meeting in preparation for second semester this coming Thursday at 2:30pm. The link for this meeting will be posted in Google Classroom. All current and prospective leadership for the Cougar Marching Band are highly encouraged to attend! MSBOA Solo & Ensemble 2021 MSBOA will be holding a Virtual Solo & Ensemble for this year. Here are the specifics you need to know:
